Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks.
EF.101: PROGRAM (10 days / 9 nights)
Arrival at Dubai International Airport. Welcome to your English-speaking guide and transfer to your
hotel. Free for dinner. Night in your hotel in Dubai.
Breakfast at the hotel.During this day, you will visit the new Dubai and all its beautiful neighborhoods. You will start with Downtown and the Dubai Mall. It is the largest shopping center in the world with more than 1,200 stores.
Discovery of the Burj Khalifa. Ascent extra (60 USD = 55 EUR). It is the symbol of the irresistible
rise in power of the Middle East. With its 828 meters high, it breaks the world record for the tallest
skyscraper and the tallest structure ever built on earth.
Lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a safari in the Dubai desert. This fascinating ride will allow
you to discover what driving in the desert is like by facing its magnificent dunes with the activity of
“Dune Bashing”. You will enjoy a photo stop then you will head to your camp where you will spend
the evening. Conviviality and an authentic Arab atmosphere will be there in this Bedouin-style camp.
Barbecue dinner accompanied by 3 shows during the evening. Return to the hotel around 9 p.m.

You will begin your visit with the Bastakiya district, a traditional district which tells the history of old
Dubai. You will learn about the history of the city and observe the many buildings and wind towers
around you. Then, continuation with the districts of Deira. You will take an abra, a traditional water
taxi, which will take you to the other side of the Creek which divides the old Dubai district in two, the
crossing takes around 5 minutes.
Once in Deira, you will discover the gold and spice souks. You will enjoy free time to shop at your
convenience. The “Gold Souk” is a traditional market located in old Dubai. There you will find all
kinds of gold, from 18 to 24 carats, as well as other equally splendid jewelry. The “Spice Souk” is
known for its perfumes from the 4 corners of the world and the beauty of its varied colors.
Lunch. In the afternoon, discovery the Dubai Frame, the new building in Dubai which symbolizes
on one side the view of 21st century Dubai and on the other side the more traditional Dubai on the
banks of the Creek. Discovery and passage in the residential district of Zabeel where you can see the
residence of the Emir of Dubai.
Then you will take the road to Jumeirah and all the luxury villas that
make up this district to the Burj Al Arab for a photo stop as well. Direction the Pointe and stop in The
Pointe district. Continue to The Palm and a panoramic tour of part of the palm tree. Photo stop in
front of Atlantis. At the end of the day, you will board a traditional dhow for a dinner cruise and
enjoy the magnificent views of Dubai at night, and from the sea.

Departure for Abu Dhabi, the largest and richest of the 7 Emirates that make up the Federation.
Guided tour of the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, inaugurated in 2017 and which presents nearly 600
works in a modern and bright structure designed by Jean Nouvel. The museum is covered by a dome
180 m in diameter, made up of 7,850 metal stars through which the sun’s rays create what Jean
Nouvel calls a “rain of light”.
Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Qasr-al-Watan, the magnificent Presidential Palace of the
Emirates. Intercontinental buffet dinner at the hotel. Night in your hotel in Abu Dhabi.

In the morning, visit the exceptional Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest in the country, entirely
covered with 120,000 m2 of Carrara marble panels. Then, departure for Al Aïn, an oasis in the
Arabian desert, near the Oman border. Guided tour of the “green city”, classified by UNESCO and
known in particular for its daily camel market, once an important stopover on the commercial routes
of Arabia: the Al Ain Palace museum, the Jahili fort… Lunch in the visit course.

Departure for the Emirate of Fujairah, on the Gulf of Oman. Panoramic tour of the city of Fujairah
and its museum dedicated to the history of the Emirate and its archaeological heritage. Stop at the Al
Badiyah Mosque, the smallest and oldest mosque in the Emirates.
Lunch. In the afternoon, drive and continue to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Intercontinental buffet dinner at the hotel. Night in your hotel in Ras Al
Khaimah.

In the morning, visit the Suwaidi pearl farm. Pearl farming was, before the discovery of hydrocarbons,
the main activity of the Emirates.
Lunch. In the afternoon, police/customs formalities and entry into the Sultanate of Oman, in the
Musandam enclave. Road to Khasab. Discovery in 4×4 of the marvelous landscapes of the Omani
mountains. At the end of this excursion, drive to your hotel and settle in for 2 nights in Khasab.

Day cruise aboard a traditional dhow. The dhow is equipped with comfortable cushions to allow you
to relax and enjoy the scenery. On the cruise, you will have the opportunity to experience the
Musandam fjords up close and discover the abundant marine wildlife, including the dolphins that
often accompany the dhows. You can also go snorkeling to explore the colorful marine life of the
area. You will have lunch on the boat, in the middle of heavenly landscapes. End of the cruise and
check into your hotel for one night.

Road to the border and return to the Emirates. Continuation through the small Emirates of Umm al
Quwain and Ajman. Road to Sharjah, the “cultural capital of the Emirates”.
Lunch. In the afternoon, a panoramic tour of the city. Visit to the Museum of Islamic Civilizations.
Stop at the oldest souk in the country, the Al Arsa souk, then at the blue souk. Continuation to Dubai
and installation in your hotel. Intercontinental buffet dinner at the hotel. Night in your hotel
in Dubai.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the desert and discovery of the Dubai Camel Race Track where all the secrets of this traditional activity in the Emirates will be explained to you: camel racing. It is one of
the most prestigious tracks in the Middle East. Return to Dubai.
Lunch. In the afternoon, head to the Mall of the Emirates, a gigantic shopping center which
houses an alpine ski slope. Continuation towards the Jumeirah district during which you will
pass in front of the emblematic Burj Al Arab hotel. Drive to The View at The Palm where
you will discover magnificent views of the famous Dubai Palm. At the end of the day, head
Downtown for dinner near the magnificent fountains of Dubai Mall. You will attend the show
and discover the light shows of the Burj Khalifa. Transfer to Dubai airport and flight to Paris.
